UF's Strategic Master Plan

Our aspiration: The central tenant of this effort is to make the University of Florida a preeminent public university.

Five themes guide our aspiration and planned investments:

    • Open Space and Infrastructure
    • Interdisciplinary Research
    • The Future of Learning
    • The Student Experience
    • Academic Regeneration

The strategic master plan includes over 2 million square feet of potential infill for an inspiring campus experience.

The creation of an 86-acre bike and pedestrian zone will allow for more connection and mobility.

The strategic master plan envisions $1.5 billion+ of capital projects for campus improvements over five years.

2,000 acres

Four campus districts will be united by the Lake Alice Preserve, organizing the 2,000-acre campus.
